Discover Odessa, formerly Odessa Visitors Bureau, needed rebranding and chose CVA to help them with their vision. The Discover Odessa team loved the idea of using the letter "O" circling around what can be discovered. We took that concept and developed a stunning campaign, showing the beauty and adventure to be discovered in the city of Odessa.
Discover Odessa went on to win 1st place for our website in the TACVB “People’s Choice” idea fair.
GOVERNMENT & ADA COMPLIANT
ADA compliance is short for the Americans with Disabilities Act Standards for Accessible Design. What that means is that all electronic information and technology on your website—must be accessible to those with disabilities.
Businesses that fall under ADA Title (s) are required to develop a website that offers “reasonable accessibility” to people with disabilities. We helped the Permian Basin Workforce Development Board create an ADA complaint for the website that includes,
- Creating alt tags for all images, videos, and audio files.
- Creating text transcripts for video and audio content.
- Identifying the site's language in the header code.
- Offering alternatives and suggestions when users encounter input errors.
- Create a consistent, organized layout.
